dbQwik MySSH dbQwikMySSH
Connect to remote MySQL databases over secure SSH connections.  What is SSH?  SSH is a secure communication means with authentication and encryption across the internet. Why do I care?  There are two main reasons you may want to use SSH.  One is to ensure that private data in your database is transmitted to your PC in a secure and private manner.  Because the data stream is encrypted, no one intercepting the data records going to your PC can read it.  The second reason is that some hosting companies will not allow remote connections to MySQL, but will allow you to connect via SSH.
dbQwikMySSH provides you with a built in SSH client and a super easy visual interface for configuring SSH to work with your MyODBC settings. You can literally see the status of your SSH connection to your server and which myODBC connections are configured to use your SSH connection.  There is no easier way to start using SSH with MySQL. Don’t waste time learning cryptic SSH commands, guessing settings of other multi-purpose tools.  dbQwik™MySSH is preconfigured to work with MySQL and myODBC.
